FBM KLCI - likely to stay in consolidation

Stocks on Bursa Malaysia ended lower last Friday on profit-taking activities while international investors shifted their focus to regional stocks. The FBMKLCI shed 6.43 points or 0.35% to end at 1,832.26, after moving between 1,831.37 and 1,836.46 points throughout the day. Week-on-week, the benchmark index fell by 3.4 points from 1,835.66 on previous Friday. Market breadth was positive with gainers outpacing losers by 450 to 357, and 325 counters were unchanged. Volume slipped to 1.57 billion shares, worth RM1.81 billion from 2.28 billion shares, worth RM2.38 billion, transacted on Thursday.
