FBM KLCI - at fresh record high


Stocks on Bursa Malaysia strengthened at the close last Friday on window-dressing as there is only one trading day left on Monday for the year of 2012. After hitting a record high of 1,686.70 as early as the first minute of trading in the morning, the FBM KLCI closed 7.17 points or 0.43% higher at 1,681.33, and on a Friday-to-Friday basis, the benchmark index gained 22.48 points from previous Friday's closing of 1,658.85. Advancers led decliners by 436 to 255 while 345 counters were unchanged.
